El aguila y el condor
Eros Ramazzotti
The Eagle and the Condor
Today I had a dream, it seemed real;
over a thousand times I've dreamt it at least.
I've seen many people arriving,
always more, always more,
a human tide.
I saw an eagle that alongside a condor
took flight towards a deep blue,
people at that moment applauded;
and there I was, and there I was
like in another world.
Oh darling, you tell me
I must keep my feet on the ground.
Oh darling, a dream is just that;
like flapping our wings sets us free
and lifts us up like that
and lifts us up like that.
The eagle flew united with the condor,
the north flew united with the south of the world.
Its meaning was clear;
and I like that, and I like that
I got excited.
Oh darling, we have to believe,
something unexpected here
could happen.
It's necessary, it's necessary time,
although something is already moving;
a new thought will be born
under the sign of change it will be.
It's necessary, it's necessary time;
but one day someone will come
who seeks an open sky,
who loves freedom
who loves freedom, freedom.
Oh darling, you tell me
I must keep my feet on the ground.
Oh darling, a dream is just that,
like flapping our wings sets us free
and lifts us up like that.
It's necessary, it's necessary time,
although something is already moving.
A new thought will be born,
under the sign of change it will be.
It's necessary, it's necessary time,
but one day someone will come
who seeks an open sky,
who loves freedom
who loves freedom, freedom.
Today I had a dream, it seemed real;
over a thousand times I've dreamt it at least,
the eagle flew united with the condor,
the north flew united with the south of the world
