Elias e a Viúva de Sarepta
Esdras Silva
Elijah and the Widow of Zarephath
Everything seemed lost, when God spoke to Elijah there
Food running out, brook drying up, and the test just flowing
But when God leads to the desert, He doesn't leave His child alone to suffer
He told Elijah, there's already a widow to sustain you
So go to Zarephath, and there I will tell you what to do
And there he found a widow, and promptly asked for water to drink
Also a piece of bread, she said she had nothing to eat
In the jar there's only flour, oil in the jug, what am I to do?
I'm going to get something to eat with my son and then... We'll die!
Elijah said: - Quickly make a cake for me, and then for you, and we'll eat!
The flour will not run out, and the oil will not fail, Everything Elijah said, God begins to honor
Start prophesying, in your desert He is, sending water and bread, and you will lack nothing, And when everything is over, He will prepare someone to sustain you, if you believe!
Many people won't understand, when God starts to act
And when He decides to act, who is man to contend?
He uses even those who have nothing to give, to bless your life, and you will lack nothing
Today He shows you, that He is your friend, takes you to the desert but goes with you
Sending flour, sending oil, and sending water to quench your thirst
Start preparing for your party, send the invitation, all without haste!
Like Elijah, I want to prophesy: The manna is coming down!
Like Elijah, I want to prophesy that victory will come... It will come
