Wait, Church
I eagerly await Jesus.
The world does not wait, but Jesus comes again.
He comes to gather his people, his eternal inheritance.
The Lamb's bride will leave the Earth.
And suddenly will appear in the sky,
And from all nations will snatch the believer
Who is waiting and remains in faith.
Who waits for Jesus despises this world.
Wait, church, wait.
Even if the struggle grows here on Earth.
Even if men rise against you,
Guard what you have so that no one takes it.
This is God's cry now:
"Here comes the bridegroom!" The time has come
When all pain and sadness will end,
For the battle is not yours, it is God's.
"The world lies in the evil one."
So says the word of God. It is written.
But the Church of Christ is the salt of the Earth,
It is the light that with its brightness dispels the darkness.
And nothing will stop this suffering people
And fight for Jesus without fearing death,
And grows even more and multiplies.
This Church does not die, it has eternal life.
