La Serpiente y La Luna

The Snake and The Moon
A lost snake in the desert
Running away from people
With an uncertain course
Suddenly, it crossed a dune
It was half past twelve
And it met the Moon
With an angry face and a cat-like gaze
Singing the lullaby that played in its cradle
And the Moon fell by mistake
Damn, blessed, and pure
The snake sailed through the blue sky
And found its dark side
And the night fell like a magnet
From the highest height
And the desert was left to preach
It slithers and hisses
It crawls on the ground
It releases its soft shirt
Like a handkerchief is released
Oh, the Moon!
How many nights looked at!
It releases its best smile
With its coiled snake
With an angry face and a cat-like gaze
Singing the lullaby that played in its cradle
And the Moon fell by mistake
Damn, blessed, and pure
The snake sailed through the blue sky
And found its dark side
And the night fell like a magnet
From the highest height
And the desert was left to preach
Oh, the Moon!
Oh, the Moon!
