Nowhere
Now I'm kinda tired,
and it's not like anything's happening,
no broken glass,
no hand on my back.
Tonight is one of those nights,
where you walk just to walk,
where you dance alone,
where you laugh to avoid crying.
And I grab a cab,
it's only two ten,
on the radio plays,
just an English musical.
It's not easy to say, I don't want to go back,
drive and don't ask, just take me nowhere.
Now I'm losing my mind,
now I bleed from my eyes,
I smell like beer,
and I'm going crazy.
I just want to leave, I have to make up my mind,
and I still don't know if nowhere, exists.
And I grab a cab,
it's only two ten,
on the radio plays,
just an English musical.
It's not easy to say, I don't want to go back,
drive and don't ask, just take me nowhere.
I have little money and no luggage,
the light from a lamppost is starting to make me dizzy,
the road burns and I don't want to cool down,
my veins are boiling, my heart is burning.
This time is the right one, I'm not gonna back down,
like a ghost ship, with the course to nowhere, to nowhere.
And I grab a cab,
it's only two ten,
on the radio plays,
just an English musical.
It's not easy to say, I don't want to go back,
drive and don't ask, just take me nowhere.
