Job's Story
If someone tries to humiliate you
Because you're a believer, and believe in God
Don't listen
Tell them that this trial will pass
Because God is your friend
Don't be swayed by the voice of the deceiver
He only knows how to accuse
Don't give in because he, oh, lost
And now it's your turn
To humiliate
Do you remember that the bold one went to God to say that Job would blaspheme
Against his lord
And if the Lord let him consume and possess all his possessions
Job wouldn't endure
But when a man, a woman, a believer
Is faithful in their purpose to serve God
They don't corrupt, no, no, no, no, no
Even in the midst of the storm, Job sat in the ashes
And worshiped the Lord
Job threw himself on the ground and worshiped
And spoke for all to hear
Naked I came from my mother's womb
And naked I will return
Everything I had God gave me
He gave and he took away
The enemies of God fall to the ground
And blessed be the name of the Lord
God allowed the enemy
To take and destroy all the possessions of his anointed one
God allowed the enemy to kill each of his children
Allowed to be struck with sores
But Job didn't listen
And to make matters worse, his wife shouted loudly
Curse this God
Like a crazy person
You have now spoken against my God
You accepted his possessions with pleasure
And you don't want to face the trials
Everything I had was given by him
He gave and he himself took away
Fall to the ground
Of the Lord, of the Lord
All glory to the Lord
