Antítese
Fabio Brazza
Antithesis
While your mouth insults me
Your hand caresses me
While your skin adheres to me
Your body hurts me, like a dagger
While your embrace calms me
Your dream captivates me, your soul washes over me
And when your waves drown me
Your kiss saves me
And when I'm in your web, you attack me
Your eyes swallow me as if in a sea of turmoil
And when I'm an empty leaf, you're a poem
You pour poetry into me and make me your dilemma
And when you catch me, I adore it
And when you deny me, I beg
To return to my life
You naked are a dead-end street
And I get lost and don't want to find myself
And I get lost and don't want to find myself
While your hand suffocates me, your mouth swallows me
While your body touches me, your soul abandons me
And when your bosom drowns me
My dream takes you, you hold me
And when your kiss kills me, your embrace heals me
And when I'm your supper, you desecrate me
Your eyes soothe me as if it were the weekend
And when I'm midday, you're my Sun
You warm me, adorn me, and guide me like a lighthouse
And when you catch me, I adore it
And when you deny me, I beg
To return to my life
You naked are a dead-end street
I get lost and don't want to find myself
I get lost and don't want to find myself
