Garden Beds
When I think of you
I close my eyes with longing
I've had a lot of things
Except happiness
My long fingers run
In sad verses I invent
Not even what I give myself to
Brings me contentment
It could even be morning
Early, clear like the day
But nothing they tell me
Makes me feel joy
I just wanted to have a taste of raspberry
From the bushes
To run among the garden beds
And hide my sadness
And I'm still quite young for so much sadness
And let's stop worrying, let's take care of life
Otherwise death will come or something similar
And drag us, young man, without having seen life
When I think of you
I close my eyes with longing
I've had a lot of things
Except happiness
My long fingers run
In sad verses I invent
Not even what I give myself to
Brings me contentment
It could even be morning
Early, clear like the day
But nothing they tell me
Makes me feel joy
I just wanted to have a taste of raspberry
From the bushes
To run among the garden beds
And hide my sadness
And I'm still quite young for so much sadness
And let's stop worrying, let's take care of life
Otherwise death will come or something similar
And drag us, young man, without having seen life
I just wanted to have a taste of raspberry
From the bushes
To run among the garden beds
And hide my sadness
And I'm still quite young for so much sadness
And let's stop worrying, let's take care of life
Otherwise death will come or something similar
And drag us, young man, without having seen life
When I think of you
I close my eyes with longing
But happiness is
My long fingers run
It's wood, it's stone, it's the end of the road
It's a leftover stump, it's a little lonely
It's the waters of March closing the summer
It's the promise of life in our hearts
I'm still quite young for so much sadness
And let's stop worrying, let's take care of life
Otherwise death will come or something similar
And drag us, young man, without having seen life
