Miseria Frente A Miseria
Fe de Ratas
Misery Against Misery
More and more worn out, more and more on our knees
we feel the wheel crushing and crushing again.
The wheel of the wildest jungle
devouring everything profitable.
No person left, not a single place
that doesn't suffer its consequences.
From Japan, Korea, or Indonesia,
from Sudan, Morocco, or Ethiopia,
from El Salvador, Brazil, Mexico
all the way to the United States.
The wheel that never stops turning,
only producing
misery against misery.
Among the footprints of reality
lives the reason.
Misery against misery.
Power to the powerful, more freedom to exploit.
To the poor, more poverty, blessed Globalization.
And they'll keep rubbing their hands,
while the wheel keeps rolling.
At some point, it will burst,
it'll be sooner or later.
To escape from a dying world
with the future in the hands of a few,
so we don't see kids like Ammuar
and only care about being human.
Tomorrow it will finally stop turning,
everyone at once
will manage to bring it to a halt.
To tell the speculator,
the World Bank
that their time is up.
