RIP
I met them in a crunchy room
At first, I looked at them like
Regular people
The first days, a giant shyness
After a while
That changed in an instant
So many moments together
So many adventures and reunions
Some came in sixth grade
Others were in kindergarten
Others drifted away with time
I think back
And I can't understand
The reason or the moment
When each had to go their own way
At that moment when we had to part
It's truly a shame
It's a different stage
That as a group we had to overcome
I wish we could
Turn back time
Go back to the old days
When we did things without thinking
So many moments together
That I will always carry with me
Friends, I promise you
That I will never forget you
To each one I say
That in my heart I will always carry you
Thanks, RIP's (rest in peace)
We live so far apart
And when I go to see them
I always wonder
If they'll be the same or have changed at all
I look at them and realize
That we'll always be the same
We shouldn't change, we shouldn't forget
The one who once made you laugh
The one who whispered answers in a test
The one who lifted you up when you fell
The one who loves you no matter your flaws
The one who does anything to make you happy
The one who always gave you advice
The one who told you the truth even if it hurts
And lastly, let's not forget
Our friends
Nor our damn school
