So is it over already?
The friends asked
This one lasted too long
They were already worried
I won't lie, I was enjoying it
But once again I'm left alone

I kept searching in my memory for what was wrong
Collecting heartbreaks, I have a Ph.D. in that
I just don't have the vocation, I should be used to it by now
A relationship with a set expiration date!

But it's three sleepless nights
Three days of drinking non-stop
The heart is complaining
But it's the one to blame
It wants attention, it needs fixing

I'm struggling to forget
Once again it chose wrong
I'm paying for my sins
