My soul praises
the greatness of the Lord
My spirit rejoices
In God, my Savior!
He has looked upon
my lowliness.
For all time
all generations will call me blessed.

God has done great things
to me
and his name
is holy...
His mercy
never ends.
It is for all
who fear him!

He raises his arm,
sweeps away the mighty...
throws the proud from their thrones,
lifts up the oppressed!
He fills the hungry,
sends the rich away...
He remembers his people,
as he promised!
