Blue night, serene sky
In a small boat
I'm gliding on the sea
And the whiteness of the moon
Floats on the waters
In a matchless beauty

From afar it seems
To hear a prayer
In the wind, in the waves
In the foam that like a veil
Frames the path
Where the little boat passes
Following the stars
That guide it from the sky

But at a certain moment
The wind changes
The moonlight ceases
And the sea so fierce
Is a challenge
To the boat with no direction

With a voice of lament
From my thoughts
I prayed to my master
With unmatched faith
And calm returned
Victory is achieved
Looking at Christ
The eternal beacon
