A Carta de Larissa
Felipe e Ferrari
Larissa's Letter
He was just a boy raised
In Mato Grosso, in the countryside
He moved to another city
To go to college
Dreamed of being a doctor
In his luggage he carried
Photos of his family
Father and mother and his siblings
He knew nothing of the world
The love he knew
Was that until then
Arriving at his destination
And being a handsome young man
He caught attention
But to the different world
He was innocent
Without malice, without understanding
And soon he was flirted by Larissa's eyes
Who had a boyfriend and he, innocently
Was enchanted by the blue of that gaze
And for Larissa he fell in love
That's when luck turned away from his life
He, a poor boy, she, a rich girl
The silly pride of society
Drove Larissa away from happiness
Time passed and that love
Continued in the heart of that doctor
But kept in memory
As he lost hope
After she got married
And not being vain
He returned to his city
And now lives very well
Built his family
In humility, in joy
Close to those who love him
And Larissa continues
In a world of luxury
Vanity, ostentation
But however, her money
Does not fill the void in her heart
And when she goes to bed without even insisting
Tears flow from Larissa's eyes
Bringing the feeling of being alone in the crowd
Look how life is made of choices
I told mine in third person
My story proved
That only those who have love are happy
Only those who have love are happy
