The Sun hasn't even risen and the day hasn't started yet
It's just us two, the King of the universe and I

But I feel Your immense love burning in me
How many times have I tried to get closer to You, Lord?
And made promises that I never managed to fulfill
The voices of this world caught my attention
The lights of sin blinded my vision
Once again I come to ask You

Dawn, dawn, bring me close to my God
Dawn, dawn, restore the peace of heaven to me
For I know that just one moment at the feet of the loving Father
Is capable of transforming my life
And instead of wandering
Insecure and hesitant
I will center my life on Jesus
I will carry on my face the brightness of one who has found their God
