O Mais Difícil É Ser Deus

The Hardest Thing Is to Be God
At low tide sitting by the beach
I asked the sea to take a question to God
"Lord, do you know how hard it is to live here?
To suffer, cry, be hungry, and see loved ones suffer"
I fell asleep on the sand and suddenly it was dawn
The sun gave life to everything and brought peace to my heart
I felt the gentle breeze, the Holy Spirit filled me
And the voice of the sea brought me an answer from my God
"My child, do not forget, that on earth I have lived
I walked with humble people, I ate with sinners
I experienced need, felt the pain of betrayal
My power is from God, but my heart is human"
Then it was my Lord's turn to ask me
"Have you ever thought how hard it is to be your God?
To speak through the word without anyone believing
To want to speak up close and have to use the voice of the sea..."
"My child, do not forget, that on earth I have lived
I walked with humble people, I ate with sinners
I experienced need, felt the pain of betrayal
My power is from God, but my heart is human"
"My child, do not forget, that on earth I have lived
I walked with humble people, I ate with sinners
I experienced need, felt the pain of betrayal
My power is from God, but my heart is human"
To be God is to be a Father betrayed by his children
To give salvation to those who wish to be lost
I know what it is to be human, to be an angel and to be God
But of all these things, the hardest thing is to be God
