Just yesterday I cried
Listening to a song
Old pictures I kept
Reminded me of my brother
Moments of joy
Made me reflect
The time he lived here
Was so short for me

I then remembered everything
Jesus promised me
I thought of the home of glory and peace
That He made for His children
There is no more death there
I will see my brother
Thinking like this makes me live
It warms my heart

I can go on with life
Remembering what has passed
But I prefer to look upward
See the home where I'm going

Here on earth Christ walked
And then returned to the Father
But I feel His gaze on me
