Silla de Ruedas
Fernando Mendes
Wheelchair
Sitting at the door
In a wheelchair, the hours passed
Her eyes so beautiful, already without joy
Crying very sadly
When she saw me
All her sadness finally arrived
Her small mouth laughed
And her laughter was for me
It was the promise of happiness
That I waited for so much, but I didn't have the courage
And I never told her about all my love
And now where will she be?
I don't know
Today I remember her suffering
And without joy
I didn't have the courage to talk to her
And make her happy
That girl sitting
In the wheelchair
What wouldn't I give to see her
Smile again
