where the living and the dead
can converse in peace
without fear of explanations,
that speak of other dimensions
that I never knew how to find

where everything is freedom
where one day they take Jesus the Nazarene
off the cross
and speak to us of peace.

There must be somewhere in the world
where the unjust can forget about Satan
where the earth can be sown
sharing the harvest
among those who want to love
there must be somewhere in the world
where we can finally breathe
where the apple grows good
and no longer pays the penalty
of original sin

There must be somewhere in the world
where the elderly find
a little bit of friendship
where a dove and a crow fly together in the sky
over the land and the sea
There must be somewhere in the world
where everything is freedom
where I can hug that friend
who fell asleep
one morning long ago...
