El Funeral

Today is a day I'll never forget,
people kneel and watch:
today is my funeral.
I don't want them to bring me bouquets,
I just don't want the worms to eat me.

A man with red eyes
plays the role very well:
"Poor boy, what a disgrace,
may God have mercy on him."

And deep down he thinks,
"he brought this upon himself,
he was a scoundrel,
surely he was high."
