Wanderer Hummingbird
I don't believe that only words make me live
Nor that lost dreams prevent me from feeling pleasure
Nothing I dreamed or did and erred was in vain
I prefer to listen to what this heart of mine asks for
I can't deny that I still suffer remembering you
And that sometimes, it hurts having just one heart trying to love
But I also overcame for myself and stopped dreaming
And I learned that, to love, one must first love oneself
I don't change, no! My heart made me this way
Taught me to like myself, gave more meaning to my life
I prefer to be a wandering hummingbird
Why would I give my love to someone who doesn't even want love?
