That Woman
The show is over,
everyone's left but,
by the bar, in the lounge,
memory lingers, nothing more.
Dim light, a coffee,
and a drink in my hands,
without wanting to, I see again,
that woman, who I still don’t know.
A soft melody,
a voice that told me, you’re alone,
and you don’t want to dance.
I looked at her, she smiled,
without speaking we danced together.
I felt her warmth,
and in her arms, my love awoke.
I’ll be back, she finally said,
when everything was ending.
And I still don’t know, if I’ll be able to,
see that woman, who I still don’t know.
A soft melody,
a voice that told me,
you’re alone, and you don’t want to dance.
