Nei Treni La Notte
Frah Quintale
On Trains at Night
I took a ride in this city
And it's like taking a ride on myself
Full of things I already know
When I come back, it seems like I never left
The street is a dance floor
It smiles at me with metal teeth
And I return the gaze
And every time I fall for it
Two on a scooter without a helmet
We saw the neighborhoods, the bars, the broken glasses
And the heroin on the foil
We walked on trains at night
To write our name
And add some color
Because when I raise my eyes and look at the sky
I no longer see the rainbow
But only the smoke from the factories
I want to feel lighter
I saw you light up at dawn
You were beautiful even when the streetlights went out
From here, there's always someone running away
At my age, those who have already done it never come back
The street is a dance floor
And it smiles at me when I drive and I'm high
In the passing lane
And every time I fall for it
You hold me tight and drag me down
We saw angry bourgeois
Drunk Romanians and some junkies from the station
They walked on trains at night
To write our name
And add some color
Because when I raise my eyes and look at the sky
I no longer see the rainbow
But only the smoke from the factories
I want to feel lighter
Because when I raise my eyes and look at the sky
I no longer see the rainbow
But only the smoke from the factories
I want to feel lighter
Because when I raise my eyes and look at the sky
I no longer see the rainbow
But only the smoke from the factories
I want to feel lighter
Because when I raise my eyes and look at the sky
I no longer see the rainbow
One day we will fly for real
One day we will fly for real
