Chaco muchacho
Francisco Gabilondo Soler (Cri Cri)
Chaco boy
A puppy, a vixen, a mouse.
And now there are three, how curious!, how beautiful!,
all have four feet.
But then came a duck,
and later a centipede.
With the duck there are already four,
the cheeky one and you are six.
Chaco boy, I don't know what you're going to do.
In your little house they will never fit.
The truth is that in your home
not even a pin fits,
the drawers are full,
there are trinkets everywhere.
And with so many old books
you can't walk.
It's impossible for them to be together
because there won't be space.
A puppy, a vixen, a mouse.
And now there are three, how curious!, how beautiful,
all have four feet.
But then came a duck,
and later a centipede.
With the duck there are already four,
the cheeky one and you are six.
Chaco boy, I don't know what you're going to do.
In your little house they will never fit.
The duck to the pool
and the vixen to the hallway.
The puppy to the kitchen
The mouse to the dining room.
But not even jokingly fits
that mischievous centipede.
Let him go back to his house
walking backwards.
