The Sick Little Bunny
At the time when the moon
peeks out behind the roof,
bent over the cradle
the Rabbit is careful.
Her little bunny fell sick
oh, poor little thing!
his tummy hurts
because in the afternoon he ate parsley.
Mrs. Rabbit was perplexed,
and her other son finally said:
"Put on at least
your hat
and run fast,
we need to buy
five liniments
and don't waste time
to come back"
"Arrive at the pharmacy,
knock on the door,
tell the pharmacist,
please,
to quickly dispense
the best remedy
for tummies
in pain"
"Run bunny run,
because your little brother
can't take it anymore,
but when you return, go back
the same way
with speed."
Oh! how slowly time passed,
dawn never arrived;
and carrying her little one
the Rabbit was desperate.
The little bunny was screaming
very sick for not knowing
that everyone born a rabbit
should never eat parsley.
Mrs. Rabbit perked up an ear
and told the older one again:
"Put on at least
your hat
and run fast,
we need to buy
five liniments
and don't waste time
to come back"
"Arrive at the pharmacy,
knock on the door,
tell the pharmacist,
please,
to quickly dispense
the best remedy
for tummies
in pain"
"Run bunny run,
because your little brother
can't take it anymore,
but when you return, go back
the same way
with speed."
