El Peluquero
Francisco Gabilondo Soler (Cri Cri)
The Barber
At the barbershop came Cri-Crí
Good to see you! The barber said
With that mop of hair, you look like a porcupine
Showing courtesy, he accommodated him
In one of those chairs that spin
And then very seriously, he put on a smock
Snip, snip, snip! Three snips of the scissors
Snip, snip, snip! He cut his hair
Snip, snip, snip! His hair fell
Snip, snip, snip! And left him bald
Cri-Crí wasn't still in that place
Because the little hairs falling among the clothes
Itched like needles and he wanted to scratch
But the barber, without mercy
With his left hand, held his neck
Keeping him still against his will
Snip, snip, snip! He opened the big scissors
Snip, snip, snip! And then closed them
Snip, snip, snip! With a part in the middle
Snip, snip, snip! He made him look very handsome
Some kids cry, they don't want to go
They are afraid that the barber
Will take off their ears and then their nose
That's why it's necessary to be brave
Haircuts at the barbershop
Are done very easily without any pain
Snip, snip, snip! Let the scissors sound
Snip, snip, snip! Let them do their duty
Snip, snip, snip! Let the hair fall
Snip, snip, snip! Let it grow back
