The Dwarf Bullfighters
Sunday afternoon, the Sun shines high;
The plaza is already full to see the matador.
Green Nose said who's better,
him or Red Belly who boasts of courage.
Let the dog with paper horns loose!
There goes Red Belly with such indecision
that his big belly is now a different color!
And as soon as the bull comes out, he charges furiously,
and the silly Red Belly took a tumble.
When Green Nose came out, the dog charged,
but as he's brave, he gracefully bullfights him.
And all the dwarfs applaud wildly:
Long live Green Nose, we want to see him bullfight!
Sunday afternoon, the Sun shines high;
once again, face to face, the skinny and the chubby.
Green Nose said there's no one like him,
because Red Belly has lost a lot of fame.
Let the dog with paper horns loose!
Chuchuca, another dwarf, came out to banderillar
trembling like a cat that just got bathed.
And he placed the pair of banderillas
in the bull's tail as he saw fit and ran away.
And Don Pimpirulando, not to be left behind,
climbed on stilts and joined the others.
And in the middle of the ring, the old bearded man
became Tancredo, starting the ovation.
