Tarde de lluvia
Francisco Gabilondo Soler (Cri Cri)
Rainy Afternoon
It's been raining... All afternoon
the field has become very
Green and fragrant;
but the flowers have their coat
because those who don't cover up get wet.
And from his smiling and kind cave
came out the Rabbit with a raincoat;
from an old tree came down Mrs. Squirrel
very lively with her umbrella.
Those ducklings go to school
with an umbrella that everything seeps through;
so both ducklings
are delighted painting puddles.
It's been raining since noon he house is dark, very sad, very cold;
with so much rain falling from above
the water already reaches the belly.
Next to the old and warm brazier
my cat snores, intelligent;
but the ducks have a different opinion
and if they get wet, it's by instinct.
Those ducklings have such a way
of diving into water with mud
that the teacher said this phrase:
"- Wet ducks I don't want in my class!"
