Discopool

Discopool
Once upon a time,
I was saving up little by little,
Shedding pretty tears,
To build a big pool.
Inflating a whale float,
I wanted to puff up that kid's cheeks,
Then I jumped right into the pool,
Cutting loose the boring ropes.
Didn’t I just say that?
Don’t run on the tear poolside.
Didn’t I just say that?
On the tear poolside,
On the tear poolside.
Ah, that kid’s dancing at the disco, last call,
A stranger’s waiting in the pool, swaying.
Ah, that kid’s dancing at the disco, last call,
Just for now, let’s ambush.
It’s about the two of us,
I was saving up little by little,
If I put happiness in my pocket,
It swelled up like a balloon.
Then it flew up into the sky,
Swimming in the blue sky pool,
Singing on a nice day,
Feeling really rockin’, don’t you think?
Didn’t I just say that?
Don’t run on the tear poolside.
Didn’t I just say that?
On the tear poolside,
On the tear poolside.
Ah, that kid’s dancing at the disco, last call,
A stranger’s waiting in the pool, swaying.
Ah, that kid’s dancing at the disco, last call,
Just for now, let’s ambush.
Ah, that kid’s dancing at the disco, last call,
A stranger’s waiting in the pool, swaying.
Ah, that kid’s dancing at the disco, last call,
Just for now, let’s ambush.
