Embrace Your Shadow
When I wake up late, my afternoon flies
Flying over the days, I never land in vain
Caring so much, it no longer matters
I exercise my inconsistency daily
After so much beating, I don't even feel pain
Words hurt more than the aggressor's punch
Who brings inside what is found outside
Tends to keep only the worst
And with closed eyes, what do you see?
Are you real or just what they told you to be?
Raise your fists if you don't want to die
After the darkness, a new day will dawn
Embrace your shadow
Embrace your shadow and bring it to life
Sometimes in the dark, the way out is found
I took my weaknesses, dressed them in song
Every moment is a painting in this exhibition
I sing to untie the knot in my chest
That paralyzes me every time I'm alone
Take everything from me, but leave me with a voice
As long as there is a heart beating in us
And with closed eyes, what do you see?
Are you real or just what they told you to be?
Raise your fists if you don't want to die
After the darkness, a new day will dawn
And when the light goes out
Embrace your shadow
When longing fades
We'll meet
Don't let go of my hand
Embrace your shadow
Try never to forget me
Embrace your shadow
Embrace your shadow
Embrace your shadow
Embrace your shadow
