If you’re wondering why I run to win
it’s because I’m not satisfied just participating
and running for the sake of running
I set out to win the race of life
because I know for sure I was created with a mission
that I have to fulfill
I understand that what I’m doing isn’t just
to make a living
but I do it with the purpose of saving lives
I hope this album is a blessing for you
I hope it awakens something new and positive in you
because I didn’t come to talk about myself
I came to talk about the one who really matters: Jesus Christ
The time has come, get ready, the action has begun
turn up the volume and adjust the EQ
I want you to understand what I’m bringing in this production
that’s why I’m starting by explaining
what my intention is
First, I’m not here to put my name in the songs
I’m not looking to be number one on the charts
I don’t care about ratings and positions
because I’m sure there are other blessings up there
I’m not here to talk about how successful my company is
I’m not here to talk about awards or royalties
I’m not going to deceive you with fantasies
because what’s valuable is wisdom
I’m careful about where I make my deposit
if we offend you, it’s not on purpose
there are many things I’m saying
because I have to fulfill my destiny and my purpose
I don’t care if they give me the spotlight or not
I keep speaking realities, that’s what’s needed
I’m not a star, the stars are way up high
I don’t dream of the moon because I’m not a pilot
either an astronaut
Today I come to talk about experiences and what I’ve seen
because before being a singer, I’m a minister
I’ve said it before, and forgive me for insisting
but the only one who matters on this album is Jesus Christ.
