from this viewpoint, you can take it all in.

Come on over, look at the sun
orange with pleasure
as it happily sets at dusk.

Look over there, you’ll see it dance
the goat to the beat of the drum
and the trombone of the gypsies as they leave.
Throw in some coins, man
that’s how they earn their bread today
it’s not that they’re virtuous, but who cares.

Come on over to the other side
some kids are going to buy
potato chips, sunflower seeds
chewing gum and more
they’re gonna stuff their faces
watching the Superman video
what a fun job they have.

Take a look, look over there
at those two girls
how tight they are
They’re Taking in the Air
and I’m just watching them pass by.

What a great pleasure at sunset
while I take in my boulevard

watch the acacias bloom
