Is There Room

Holy, holy, holy
Church interceding, interceding, church
Is there room for me? (No!)
Why do they treat me like this? (Get out!)
I'm rebellious, they say out there (out!)
Why would they think that?
Is there room for me? (No, very immature)
Why do they treat me like this? (Daddy, I don't know)
I'm rebellious, they say out there (yes, you are)
Why would they think that? (Church interceding)

Hello, my name is Gabriel, nice to meet you
And with all due respect, I want to be very honest with you (amen)
I'm tired of the message not matching
Critiquing me from the temple while the world is lost
I'm a rapper and a born-again Christian
And I proudly speak of the grace I have received (thanks)
To enter, I had to talk to the ushers
They differ saying that earrings are for women, deserve

Before they label me with the religion that kills
Adolf Hitler killed thousands and wore a tie
Maduro kills Venezuela and with a coat
Proving that clothes and actions are not related
It has nothing to do with what Gabriel does with that
Who maybe dresses like him
It's not related to living in prayer
But stealing whenever the occasion arises
I'm not here to expose your sins
If Jesus' grace has covered mine
Cold hearts, lost, stuck in trouble
Bad Bunny fills the role and the services remain empty

I have to interrupt you because you're wrong
My service isn't full because I confront sin
I don't prostitute the gospel, your music abhors it
The church isn't full because of sound doctrine

I don't master that Sunday jargon
But explain to me Matthew 4:23-25
Where it says that Jesus' fame
Spread when he left a couple of lame people jumping
Healing the sick and bringing the good news
They followed him from Judea and Galilee
Fame doesn't define success, but fame isn't a sin
But the envy you have is ugly
Don't come with that excuse
What you call 'sound doctrine' doesn't make sense to me
It's real Christians who care about souls
And if we do all that, the church will be full

True religion makes me uneasy
Read James 1:27
Let's not let this world corrupt our actions
And let's help people, calming their afflictions
We want the nations, we want all the gifts
And not just missions, may God position us
We want God to give us visions while we pray (holy)
While neighbors are lost in droves

And if my honesty closes doors for me, let them close
They'll have to open them in the years to come
When they see that the services aren't full
And that the youth go outside to harm themselves

I don't expect everyone to sing rap
I just want them to respect diversity
The manifold grace that covers and unites us
That heals in the nursing home, in kindergarten, and in college
There's no difference between you and the lost
What sets me apart is how I live my life
I fall and fail but find a way out
In his infinite grace and undeserved kindness

Gabriel, what makes me think you won't rob me?
You have a cap and screen like a robber
OK, man, I'll talk to you kindly
What makes me think you won't violate a child?
It's that your attire is worldly
Uh-huh, tell me where they sell Christian clothes

My outfit has no soul, brother, think about it
The worldly mentality is to judge the superficial, bro
Jesus has nothing wrong, and
I'm ashamed that people reject him because of these Christians
Who spend time debating sound gospel
Instead of acting like brothers and giving each other a hand
I include myself in this and with this I conclude
I apologize to you and all yours
Let's work as a team even if there's discord
And let's learn to look at each other with a lot of mercy
