Riding the Old Mule
Uncle Nanato and the Frontier Cowboy
Frontier Cowboy
Vaneira
I saddled up an old mule I nicknamed Big Guy
And tied the stallion's tail, right at the hitch of the corn stalk
I'm off to find some fresh grub, tired of eating scraps!
Ride on, old mule, don’t you slack off now -
I want to drink holy water with a hint of lipstick.
In a little ranch house in town, I heard an accordion,
Bouncing to a vaneira like a wild complaint;
For me, who’s been crouched down with sweat soaking my face!
For me, who’s running late just dealing with the critters
I asked for permission, shouted, and told them to let loose the fun,
Even if it rips my ass, today I’m gonna let it all hang out.
I grabbed hold of a mare that shot me a sideways glance
I made a strange invitation and a proposal in between,
I woke up with droopy ears and the girl asking for a bridle.
