Kikio
Geraldo Espíndola
Kikio
Kikio was born in the center
Between mountains and the sea
Kikio saw everything beautiful
All indigenous around here
Indigenous America, your children
It was Tupi, it was Guarani
Kikio died happy
Leaving the land for both
Guarani went south
Tupi went north
And they formed their tribes
Each in their place
Sometimes they met
By the rivers of America
And they fought together against the white man
In search of servitude
And they suffered so much pain
Cornered in the backlands
Tupi entered the Amazon
Guarani still calls
Kikio in the full moon
Wants Tupi, wants Guarani
Kikio in the full moon
Wants Tupi, wants Guarani
Kikio in the full moon
Wants Tupi, wants Guarani
Kikioooooooo
