I was born without fortune and with nothing
Challenging destiny head on
Even the unhappiest humiliated me
All the people ignoring me

My poor old people worked so hard
They never had time for that

I did not go to school
I learned big

That's why I return to this old town
Where life treated me so badly
And this is my race
