You didn't choose me to be the neighborhood's role model
You didn't choose me for getting to church early
Nor for knowing a whole verse by heart

It was by your forgiveness and grace that I came out of hell
It was a requirement to die in my suffering
If a sinner repents, there's a party in heaven
