Taking an exam in life
That I have lived with you, Jesus
I realize that I still need to learn
To forgive with you
I am surrounded by struggles and wars
Although I am no longer in darkness
And that's precisely why I ask
Oh Christ, invade my being

I have your divine example
Although in time, I don't remember to appropriate
Looking at the cross where you were, I saw
That you forgave those who hurt you
Not everything you want I do
But in a hug I feel
Your holy forgiveness
