Dono da Igreja

There are people wanting and thinking, to be the owner of the church
There are even people imagining, that the church is their business
There are people buying and selling chairs in the church
Saying: God gave it to me; this is my church
There are people raising walls closing the church
Saying: No one enters here, this is my church

But the church is the bride of Jesus
It is a holy body taken from the cross
It's no use trying to take possession of the church
This church is not Joseph's
Not Peter's, Paul's, nor John's either
Only Jesus Christ can say so
It's my church

The Church of Christ has no tax ID or flag
It has a rod, staff, and oil in its lamp
The Church is Brown and she is very beautiful
It's not green, nor blue, nor pink
It doesn't own a radio or TV, nor is it on the internet
Jesus knows who she is, my Jesus knows her
