Oh! Jesus Me Ama

1 Far from the Lord, I walked,
On the path of horror,
I didn't ask for Jesus,
Nor did I want His love.

Oh! why does Jesus love me?
I can't explain it to you!
But He also calls you,
Because He wants to save you!

2 I didn't think about judgment,
Nor about my perdition,
Nor did my soul desire
Eternal Salvation.

3 Tired of sin,
I went to the Savior's feet,
And there, the burden fell
Of sadness and pain.

4 How wonderful it is,
To belong to my Jesus!
To have grace, rest,
And stay at the foot of the cross!
