The Blind Man
Throughout my whole life since the day I was born
Darkness was my companion, I never saw the daylight
My mother's love eased my sorrow
But all I wanted was to see her face
To survive in life, every day I begged
Always on the roadside, someone would leave me there
How many times I thought, I even said
It would be so different, my God, if I could see
Then one beautiful day by the roadside
Tired of living, hope worn out
The miracle happened, the man from Galilee was passing by
I shouted and he stopped, then touched my eyes, and I could see
That day I went home without needing to be guided
I looked at my mother, saw her tear-stained face
I saw the expression of love, looked at the sky, saw its color
And in the Sun, I saw so much light, I was taken out of deep darkness, I confess
Since then, I have seen the beauties of the universe
Contemplated rare sights, none compare
To the face of Jesus Christ
Contemplated rare sights, none compare
To the face of Jesus Christ
