They threw Daniel into the den, now what to do?
The royal decree was signed and cannot be revoked
For thirty days no one could make a petition
To any God, to any man, and Daniel
Was found in his room worshipping
The King spent the night fasting and did not allow
The presence of musical instruments
The King even lost sleep
And early in the morning the king got up
Went to the lion's den and shouted
Daniel! Tell me that your God saved you
Oh King! Live forever!
My God sent his angel
And silenced the enemy's mouth
While I slept, the lions kept me warm

My God was there with me
He did not allow the enemy
to devour my faith
And while I prayed
My God stood me up
Standing even among enemies
Standing even with lions roaring
Standing in the den or inside the furnace
He walks with me
Standing even in the midst of the storm
Standing in the midst of calamity
He fears neither the den nor the furnace
Who made friends with the king
