Promessa
Gerson Rufino
Promise
God called Abraham and made him a promise
Leave from the midst of your land and your kindred
I want to bless you
Gideon threshing the wheat there in the midst of the winepress
The Lord appeared to him and from the hands of the Midianites
He will deliver his people
I now remember David
There in the field among the sheep
He was despised by his brothers
Yes, humiliated by all
But Samuel is coming
God is like that
When He speaks, He commands
It's too much, He is able, yes to do
He takes the man who is no longer remembered
Brings him out of anonymity
And fills him with power
From David, king of Israel
From Moses, liberator
Samuel, the voice of God
From Joseph, governor
And today God will make of you
A great victor
If you have promises from the Lord
Go to sleep peacefully, do not despair
The earth passes, the sky passes and the sea dries up
His promise will be fulfilled
Do not think that the Lord has forgotten you
God never forgets one of His children
Believe, take possession of the victory
His promise will not fail
The promise is for me
The promise is for you
The promise is for the people of God
