Vaso Quebrado
Gerson Rufino
Broken Vase
A vase thrown into the world, worthless
A vase full of sin, empty of God
A vase once used, but cracked
All its virtue leaked out, no longer useful
A vase that was a blessing
Lost its prudence, then failed
A vase so full of grace turned to the world and sin entered
Today it lost its appearance, a consequence of its actions
The effect of the sad sin, a blessed vase, remained in sadness
A vase that God used within the church
Was a vessel of honor, had value
But didn't take care and sin entered
No longer a vessel of honor, it remained empty
But here is the potter
Faithful, true, and restorer
He transforms the damaged vase
Thrown away, worthless
Breaks and molds it again
Makes a new and valuable vase
Then the restored vase is used again
In the hands of the Lord
