Deus Não Perde Em Questão

God Does Not Lose In Question
I need to tell you about a wonderful being
That the world once saw
Walked on water
Calmed the storm, saved those who followed him
He healed the lame and the crippled
And to Bartimaeus, the blind, restored his vision
If he wants to be by your side
He is a lawyer who does not lose in question
He is the merciful God, God of peace, omnipotent
Of eternal compassion, he is the God of forgiveness
He is the God of Jeremiah, of Isaac and of Elijah
Of Jacob and Abraham
He is the God of the seas, God of the earth
God of the skies, where airplanes fly
Everything belongs to him, my brother
He is the God of men and does not lose in question
When King Hezekiah felt threatened
By another pagan king
Who had promised to crush Israel
With his great battalion
He knelt on the ground
And prayed to God asking for his eternal compassion
One hundred and eighty-five thousand
Only one angel destroyed, but did not lose the question
He is the merciful God, God of peace, omnipotent
Of eternal compassion, he is the God of forgiveness
He is the God of Jeremiah, of Isaac and of Elijah
Of Jacob and Abraham
He is the God of the seas, God of the earth
God of the skies, where airplanes fly
Everything belongs to him, my brother
He is the God of men and does not lose in question
