The Little Donkey
It tells the story of a little donkey
Who spent his time working
Carrying firewood and heavy loads
He seemed very sad and tired
As a reward, he received grass
Then they left him tied up
His life passed by
He was nothing but a simple and poor slave
But one day everything changed
The Great King sent for him
He wouldn't carry firewood this time
But the King in his triumphal parade
And the donkey is you or it could be me
The King is Jesus, our Savior
The donkey is you or it could be me
The King is Jesus, our Savior
Be careful little donkey not to believe you're the greatest
Because the one you carry on top is the one people applaud
Finally, they untied the donkey
He felt useful and important
His bad past was erased
He walked with an elegant step
Because one day everything changed
The Great King sent for him
He wouldn't carry firewood this time
But the King in his triumphal parade
And the donkey is you or it could be me
The King is Jesus, our Savior
And the donkey is you or it could be me
The King is Jesus, our Savior
Be careful little donkey not to believe you're the greatest
Because the one you carry on top is the one people applaud
The people cheered
The people shouted
Everyone applauded
Everyone celebrated
The donkey is you or it could be me
The King is Jesus, our Savior
And the donkey is you or it could be me
The King is Jesus, our Savior
Be careful little donkey not to believe you're the greatest
Because the one you carry on top is the one people applaud
