Do Japão
Gilberto Gil
From Japan
From Japan
I want a dream filming machine
To record on summer nights
My light, happy, smiling astral body
Flying high like a hawk
That films inside my head
Every rare thought I deserve
Every colorful illusion that appears
Every beauty of dreaming in vain
From Japan
I also want a coconut bullet train
To cross tunnels of bitterness
I want a baroque microcomputer
That's crazy and unprograms the pain
To visit a zen-hippie temple
To talk to a futuristic samurai
Who gives me clues about the rising sun
Who guides me about new love
From Japan
I want a geisha who in a few minutes
Turns my complaint into passion
Discovers new raw feelings
And, enchanted, takes a plane
And we go live in another world
Beyond the Third or Fourth or Fifth World
Where the queen is a lily
And the divinity, the peacock's feather
