Menina do Sonho

Dream Girl
Today the dream girl didn't come to wake me up
Maybe she did come and I just didn't know how to dream
Maybe she even tried to discover me
In the midst of heavy sleep, to sleep, to sleep
Maybe she did come to visit my dream
And maybe it was just the abandonment of the sleeping soul in life
What was deep inside me to be seen
That she, the dream girl, was moved
And did nothing but smile
Leaving soon after to search around
For another dwelling for the dream, as she is a fairy
Destined to live, with her body in nothingness
The moment, the space, the real embrace of the illusion of existence
Who has had this night
The dream visited by her or by a cherubim
Since the dream girl didn't come to me?
