Totalmente Dependente
Gislaine Ferreira
Totally Dependent
How many times I hugged
But, who needed a hug was me
How many times God used me to heal
But who needed to be healed was me
With a smile on my lips and a wounded heart
My soul distressed, negative thoughts
The whys disturbing me and stealing the certainty to move forward
But, when I thought I had nowhere else to go
In the secrecy of my room God revealed Himself to me
His presence renewed my strength, He spoke to me like this
I am the potter, you are the vessel
If necessary, I make and remake
I chose you before you were born
I called you to fulfill my calling, so go, go, go
I am your strength, I am your shield
Do my work, I take care of the rest
After God spoke, I learned
I started to act differently, I am totally dependent
But, when I thought I had nowhere else to go
In the secrecy of my room God revealed Himself to me
His presence renewed my strength, He spoke to me like this
I am the potter, you are the vessel
If necessary, I make and remake
I chose you before you were born
I called you to fulfill my calling, so go, go, go
I am your strength, I am your shield
Do my work, I take care of the rest
After God spoke, I learned
I started to act differently, I am totally dependent
I am the potter, you are the vessel
If necessary, I make and remake
I chose you before you were born
I called you to fulfill my calling, so go, go, go
I am your strength, I am your shield
Do my work, I take care of the rest
After God spoke, I learned
I started to act differently, I am totally dependent
Even without strength I go, even beaten down I go
Even crying I go, because it was God who called me
Even hurting I go, even suffering I go
Even bleeding I go, because it was God who called me
Even without strength I go, even beaten down I go
Even crying I go, because it was God who called me
Even hurting I go, even suffering I go
Even bleeding I go, because it was God who called me
