Who Sees Me Singing
Who sees me singing thinks that all the time
It was only joy
And that in this life I never had reasons to cry
Who sees me singing never imagines that I spent dark nights
Thinks that my life was living happily and just singing
But God knows it wasn't like that
I crossed a desert
Feet hurting from the wounds of the thorns
And how many times I screamed
Because I couldn't bear the pain
God, I don't want to die on this path
But when I thought I was alone
The Almighty would appear
And renew the promises
Reminding me of what He did in me
And words of comfort He repeated to me
Remember the cloud by day, it was me
Remember the pillar of fire, it was me
I made water spring forth to drink
Remember the manna from heaven, it was me
Remember the path in the middle of the sea
Sing for I am the one who takes care of you
No one will touch you
